Description:
Listen to the calming sounds of the Big Thompson River and to the echoes of the Canyon, as you relax in this beautiful home with three bedrooms and two baths. Let your cares drift away.
A gorgeous cherry tree is just outside your door next to the patio with wrought iron table and chairs and a new gas grill. Enjoy your dinner outdoors or just sip your morning coffee, while watching the river flow by.
This home was once part of the historic Chief Motel, that has been transformed into a gorgeous vacation rental with a warm and comfortable décor: a little Western, a little mountain, and a lot of love.
The main living area has plush carpeting with warm knotty pine wood walls and ceilings. Sink into the two large comfy leather sofas, in front of the dark cherry wood electric fireplace. Enjoy the big screen TV with satellite or better yet, strike up a song on the 105 year old antique piano, recently tuned.
Through the glass French doors is a cozy den with a soft camel colored leather chair for reading your favorite book and a large desk, complete with Hi Speed Internet and WIFI for your computer needs. Antiques and relics of days-gone-by are everywhere for you to enjoy.
A fully equipped beautifully decorated kitchen opens to a fantastic dining room complete with a large handmade antique wooden table with seating for six. The feel is historic with Western pieces adorning the walls. Stained glass lighting above the table and an antique gas wood stove in the corner of this room, make it the place everyone wants to gather.
This home has two master bedrooms. The knotty pine furniture in the first bedroom has plush bedding and a patchwork quilt on a very comfortable Queen bed. In the corner of this room is an antique electric wood stove, book cases filled with treasures and a big comfy leather chair, making this your own sitting/reading area.
A Beautiful comforter and lots of fluffy pillows provide the décor for this lovely Queen bed in the second master bedroom. A beautiful antique dressing table and bench complete this room.
A third bedroom is available to be used as an additional living room or bedroom with a very comfortable sleeper sofa bed.
Step outside for great views of the light shining off the canyon walls and the fantastic aroma of the tall pine trees that surround you. Catch a glimpse of the big Horn Sheep that make this area their home. Not far from your door is the entry to your private catch and release fishing.

Within minutes, you can be in the heart of the fascinating town of Estes Park, with great shopping, dining and entertainment. Enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park, driving through the magnificent mountains, filled with unbelievable views, wildlife, lakes and waterfalls. You can also hike any of the miles of trails throughout the park and have your lunch at one of the great picnic areas.
Come stay in this beautiful Rocky Mountain River Cabin, making your vacation a relaxing, fun and memorable trip to the Rocky Mountains.
